Mr. Safai is a partner of Afridi & Angell. He joined the firm in 2002 after having practiced at the law firm of Cooley Godward in Palo Alto, California.

Mr. Safai regularly writes in international and regional publications on his practice areas, and is interviewed by and quoted in regional media. He gives speeches at conferences and seminars on his practice areas.

Mr. Safai is highly sought after by boards and shareholders in the recent global financial crisis for strategic legal advice. He has been active in lobbying for and providing constructive feedback to government organisations with respect to regional laws and regulations pertaining to investment, corporate governance and real estate.
